HydraulicFiresleeve™ (fire sleeve) is manufactured from a knitted fiberglass sleeve which is then coated with silicone rubber. Typical use is for the protection of hydraulic hoses, cables and wires from high temperature, flames, slag, splatter, sparks and contamination in industrial environments such as metal processing, heat treatment, robotic welding and glass making.
HydraulicFiresleeve™ Heavy Duty Grade is manufactured from a braided fiberglass sleeve which is then coated with silicone rubber. Typical use is the protection of fuel, oil and hydraulic hoses in aviation applications, typically on aircraft engines and airframes. Heavy Duty Grade HydraulicFiresleeve™ is also used in industrial applications where an extra heady-duty firesleeve is required, as the braided fiberglass base sleeve is denser and heavier than the knitted sleeve used in industrial firesleeve.
